PyConf Hyderabad 2019 is the regional gathering of Pythonistas and the largest Python Conference in Hyderabad.This is the 2nd Edition of the Conference which is going to be held on Dec 7-8 at IIIT Hyderabad

PyConf Hyderabad will have 3 major events Conference, Workshop and Devsprints.

Workshops will be held on 7th Dec at T-Hub, IIIT Hyderabad. On the workshop day, people can attend hands-on workshops, and learn about a topic from an expert.

Devsprints will be held on 7th Dec at T-Hub, IIIT Hyderabad. This will be going parallely with Workshops. During the Devsprints people contribute to open source projects, guided by mentors. This is a nice way to get started with contributing to Python and other open source projects.

Workshops and Devsprints have a common ticket. Buying a Workshop/Devsprints ticket gives you full day access to attend any Workshop/Devsprint of your choice.

Conference will be held on 8th Dec at IIIT Hyderabad. On the conference days, people connect with each other, discuss their experiences and present their ideas.

• Talks is where people do a 25 min talk, on a topic. These talks are selected through a CFP process, before the event. There will be 2 parallel tracks, where presentations will happen in parallel.
• Lightning talks are rapid 5 min presentations, that is presented to the entire conference crowd, a great way to get a message across to the entire audience.
• Sponsor Stalls are where you can meet companies supporting the conference. These companies use Python and are looking for Python developers. You can visit their stalls to get to know more about them, and the openings in their organization.

Conference Ticket gives you full day access to all events on the Conference Day on 8th Dec.

Q. I want to present a talk/workshop at the conference. What should I do?

Q. I want to volunteer for the conference. What should I do?

Check out the Volunteer Page to know about the roles and responsibilities. Fill the volunteer form and subscribe to the HydPy mailing listfor updates.

Q. I am a speaker/volunteer at the conference. Do I need to buy a ticket?

Yes. At PyConf, everybody buys tickets. Even the event organizers buy tickets. Your ticket helps keep the event affordable for all.

Q. What does the Conference ticket (8th Dec) include ?

Full day access to all Talks and Keynote, Lunch, Tea and Snacks, T-shirt and goodies

Q. What does the Workshop/Devsprint ticket (7th Dec) include ?

Access to any Workshop/Devsprint for the full day. Attendee can attend any workshop/devsprint of choice. Lunch, Tea and Snacks included. T-shirt is not provided to those who only attend Workshop/Devsprint.

Q. Can I switch between Workshops/Devsprints ?

Yes you can switch between Workshops/Devsprints. But seats in each Workshop/Devsprint is limited and is available on First Come, First Serve basis.

Q. There is a change in my plan so I can’t attend the conference. Can I get a refund?

Tickets can't be cancelled, but can be transferred. Details of this will be updated shortly after Transfer window is open.

Q. Is accommodation included in the ticket?

No, it doesn’t include accommodation.

Q. Is there any discount on student ticket ?

There will be a discount on regular tickets for students, details of which will be made available shortly. Students must carry a student ID card valid on the day of the Conference when availing a student discount.
